We only charge exactly what we are charged. I also told her that unfortunately, Griggs charges a set fee to come out and do a repair and we do not make any money on this. I attempted to tell her that we have been using this vinyl for over 4 years and seldom have ever had to replace any of the strips because of damage so this was not normal wear and tear. I acknowledged that I was aware of the one place the vinyl lifted but that was not what we were charged for, it was for the complete replacement of the vinyl strip that was damaged. She claimed that a strip had lifted and she had turned in a request to have it repaired but chose to wait instead. It was quite a large scratch about 4" by 2" and would stick out notably for the next resident. Sloan today, she told me that she had not received the attachment to my email to her and I sent it to her immediately so that she could see the scratch on the vinyl that we had to repair due to damage. The 2nd did hang up on her after asking her to please stop screaming over the phone and she failed to stop causing Charity to hang up. She called and screamed at not only 1 of my employees but 2. Sloan the deposit accounting with copies of the photos, copy of the bill from Griggs and statement. We took photos of the damage and sent her a bill for the repair and the water bill for a total of $121.97.
We found that one of the vinyl strips was damaged and scratched all the way across the strip. We did a move out walk through of this home with out the resident after attempting to schedule a move out walk through with her prior to her move out.
